This role involves managing the spa reception area, which includes greeting guests, providing tours, answering phones, booking appointments, and effectively selling retail products and spa services. The attendant must also maintain cleanliness, manage inventory needs, and adhere to all safety and health regulations under the direction of the Regional Spa Director.

Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Work under direction of the Regional Spa Director.
- Maintain positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers, and guests.
- Communicate regularly with all spa staff on property regarding appointments and required timeframe for smooth workflow.
- Greet clients as they enter the Spa.
- Provide clients with tours and information related to the Spa and its features.
- Answer the telephone identifying yourself, your department, and offering assistance.
- Effectively selling retail products and promoting spa services.
- Maintain proper opening/closing procedures and acting responsibly with transactions.
- Book appointments either by phone or in person and recording the transactions in the appropriate area.
- Follow daily checklist as detailed on Spa’s list of daily attendant activities.
- Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance, which includes wearing a clean and well-kept uniform, and nametag.
- Follow all safety and health regulations including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocol policies.
- Maintain spa rooms and public areas in a clean, comfortable and saleable condition, including front of house areas. (fresh water and ice; trash picked up).
- Help insure inventory system for supplies, equipment, and merchandise is correctly stocked. When needed establish reorders, or facilitate communication of the need.
- Keep men’s/ladies spa area clean, orderly, and well stocked with necessary items, throughout scheduled shift.
- Report any accidents or injuries to the Security Department.
- Help the Regional Director train newer staff to carry out the basic front desk program as set up and design such to give the maximum efficiency in performance.
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties.

Requirements
- Must be a passionate people person, as this job is highly interactive and requires superb customer service skills sales experience a plus.
- Friendly and warm demeanor, excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask while maintaining poise.
- Competent with computer technology to easily learn reservation management system, the point of sale system to process payments, and Microsoft Office Suite for basic document manipulation and printing.
- Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
- Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
- 6 months -1 year in customer service experience required; spa or hospitality experience a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
