About the Role

Company Description

If you’ve been craving a clinic where you don’t have to harden up to keep up, and you don’t have to compromise your standards to get through the day, this is that place.

Greencross Baldivis is a close, caring team with a busy but structured rhythm. We show up gently with each other, and we practise with intent. Cases are talked through. Decisions are shared. Support is right there when you need it. You’ll feel held by the team, and proud of the medicine.

This is a maternity leave cover role with a view to become permanent for the right fit.

Why people stay

Baldivis runs on high trust.

  • No ego culture, no hierarchy

  • You can ask for help without judgement, and you’ll get it

  • Mentorship is part of the day, not an “extra”

  • Our nurses are highly skilled, empowered, and reliable, which changes everything about workflow and case quality

The work you’ll do, and how we do it

Our caseload is varied and can be complex: preventative care, emergency , medical workups, and surgery. We value continuity of care, so you can follow cases through and build real outcomes.

We encourage gold-standard care and thorough diagnostics because that’s how we care well. We don’t shut down good medicine because the day is busy. We make the day work around doing it properly.

Tools that match your standards

You’ll have the set-up to support quality care, including dental and digital radiography, in-house pathology, quality ultrasound, strong surgical equipment including cautery, and robust anaesthetic monitoring protocols.

Within the team you’ll find strong interest and capability across emergency medicine, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and advanced diagnostics and anaesthesia, so there’s always someone to bounce ideas off.

Who will thrive here

You’ll love Baldivis if you:

  • want to practise to a high standard, with a team that backs it

  • enjoy collaborative case conversations and shared decision-making

  • like complex cases and the satisfaction of seeing them through

  • communicate clearly, kindly, and calmly, even when it’s busy

  • respect nurses as true clinical partners and love working as one unit

Lifestyle and location

Baldivis gives you south-of-Perth ease without the inner-city stress. Easy freeway access, simple parking, close to Rockingham and Warnbro beaches, great cafés and local amenities, and a growing community with loyal clients.

As part of Greencross, you’ll have support that makes the job sustainable, including:

  • Competitive salary aligned to your skills and experience
