Beauty Industry Group is seeking a Commercial Demand Generation Associate to partner with the Commercial team to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, evaluate promotional and launch performance, optimize inventory levels, and monitor the competitive landscape to inform sales channels and performance teams.
The Commercial Demand Generation Associate will partner closely with eCommerce, Distribution, Finance, Growth Marketing, and Demand Planning functions. This role requires a strong blend of quantitative, data-driven, demand forecasting expertise and the ability to incorporate qualitative trend insights into actionable plans. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who can work independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive results with minimal oversight. This role will support the North America brands: Bellami, Babe, Donna Bella, and Luxy.
This role is hybrid at our Los Angeles office with a hybrid schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday onsite.
Base: $80,000-90,000 (based off experience)
Bonus Eligibility: 5% Annually
Responsibilities
Forecasting, Reporting, Insights
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts across multiple brands, incorporating historical data, seasonality, promotional activity, and market trends.
- Partner with Commercial, eCommerce, Marketing, Finance, and Demand Planning teams to align forecasts with business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Review and analyze promotional and product launch performance, adjusting forecasts and recommendations based on insights and evolving demand patterns.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to inventory levels, proactively recommending actions to optimize stock, reduce excess, and minimize stockouts.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, market trends, and consumer behavior to inform forward-looking demand assumptions.
- Support product lifecycle management through forecast updates tied to new launches, phase-outs, and replenishment strategies.
- Build and provide clear reporting and actionable insights to leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with Brand and Growth teams on marketing and sales channel forecast goals and performance from strategy to execution.
- Ability to leverage data to inform optimization, prioritization and turn insights into actionable deliverables.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on Commercial Planning & Forecasting experience.
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Shopify, Excel, PowerBI and Tableau.
- Proactive self-starter who excels at uncovering data-driven insights and turning them into meaningful business impact.
- Proven expertise in optimizing go to market effectiveness through incremental and revenue contribution analysis.
- Ability to assess business impact of new innovations, campaigns, and activations.
- Confident in working across multiple departments and managing multiple projects.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work across time zones as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
