Position Summary:
The Capital Buyer is responsible for supporting all aspects of the capital buying process as it relates to the complete Purchase Order process. They will partner with the Construction team and ensure all information is accurate and according to our standards and expectations to ensure accurate information for the Finance team. This position reports directly to the VP Supply Chain, and is a national role covering multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership for all Capital related Purchase orders, ensuring compliance to all Little Leaf Farms standards for required information, terms, and due dates
- Partner with Construction team to ensure accurate information necessary to create Purchase Order
- Compliance with SOP for handling any conflicts/discrepancies to current standards (ie down payment, terms)
- Assist with new vendor integration/setup
- Support as needed obtaining multiple quotes for specific items
- Regular engagement with PO originator for updates/receipts and maintain accuracy of dates within PO
- Maintain up to date item receipts per direction from requestor
- Anything else as required by the business

Requirements
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in procurement/purchasing
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field with direct capital purchasing experience, including sourcing construction services
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) is a must. NetSuite experience is a plus.
- High attention to detail essential with ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment
- Collaborative mindset – able to partner with other team members to achieve end goal
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Motivated to learn, grow position
