Pediatric Dental Specialists is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dedicated pediatric dental team. Our practice provides comprehensive dental care for children from infancy through adolescence across multiple locations in Montana and Wyoming. Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to established protocols
- Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures
- Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed
- Provide patient and parent education on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation
- Support efficient clinical workflow and help maintain a clean, organized environment
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant certification or relevant credentials as required by state
- Pediatric dental experience preferred but not required
- Radiography certification or willingness to obtain preferred
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, child-friendly environment
- CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
