Infant & Toddler Teacher

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide nurturing, responsive, and individualized care for infants and toddlers
  • Create a safe, warm, and stimulating environment that supports early development and secure attachments
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based experiences that support sensory, motor, language, and social-emotional development
  • Observe and document children’s growth and milestones
  • Partner closely with families to support each child’s unique needs and routines
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times
  • Maintain compliance with California Title 22 regulations and program policies

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • ECE Units required under California Title 22 for Infant/Toddler Teachers (including Infant/Toddler units, as applicable)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid California Teaching Permit or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach with a genuine passion for early childhood development

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Knowledge of DRDP (Infant/Toddler) implementation
  • Basic knowledge of the Environment Rating Scale (ITERS)
  • Experience working in an infant or toddler classroom
