Infant and Toddler Teacher

What You’ll Do:
- Provide nurturing, responsive, and individualized care for infants and toddlers
- Create a safe, warm, and stimulating environment that supports early development and secure attachments
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based experiences that support sensory, motor, language, and social-emotional development
- Observe and document children’s growth and milestones
- Partner closely with families to support each child’s unique needs and routines
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times
- Maintain compliance with California Title 22 regulations and program policies
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- ECE Units required under California Title 22 for Infant/Toddler Teachers (including Infant/Toddler units, as applicable)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California Teaching Permit or willingness to obtain upon hire
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach with a genuine passion for early childhood development
Bonus Qualifications (Preferred):
- Knowledge of DRDP (Infant/Toddler) implementation
- Basic knowledge of the Environment Rating Scale (ITERS)
- Experience working in an infant or toddler classroom
