We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Manager, who will be responsible for applying leading product management skills to home lending products, to ensure policies and processes are safe and fit for purpose. You’ll be the subject matter expert in product and technology solutions, and implementation of new functionality into frontline channels and platforms.
We spoke with the Head of Home Lending, and they let us know the following about the tūranga (role):
What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
Responsible for the delivery of a value streams business requirements.
Ensure that work planned/delivered meets business requirements.
Lead the successful delivery of associated business activities/dependencies.
Lead business readiness activities.
Works closely with value streams business analysts to ensure business requirements are in-line with business outcomes.
What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?
The ability to think critically. We are looking for someone with the technical ability to develop solutions across business and platform processes. The solutions also need to work within the construct of regulation and ensure a great customer experience. The following experience is also beneficial:
8+ years experience in the Banking, Finance or related industries
Involved in product and process improvement
Analysis of data and providing recommendations / insights
Experience in transformation projects, including an understanding of technology platforms.
