Summary:
The Cloud Services Director leads our cloud and infrastructure teams, driving the cloud initiatives. The Cloud Services Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our cloud environment and IT infrastructures, ensuring their availability, performance, scalability, and security, playing a pivotal role in shaping LucyRx’s cloud strategy while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Cloud Services Director is responsible for developing and implementing cloud strategies and roadmaps that align with overall business objectives and future growth. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud and operations professionals while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Develop, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments to automate and standardize cloud provisioning and configuration.
- Ensure the continuous availability, optimal performance, scalability, and robust security of all cloud environments.
- Oversee and manage IT Infrastructure Teams responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LucyRx IT infrastructures.
- Monitor and analyze cloud performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant industry regulations, data privacy laws, and internal security standards.
- Develop, implement, and regularly test comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all cloud services.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, implementing best practices for security and governance.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments and business units to ensure successful cloud integrations and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing, evaluating and recommending new solutions to enhance our cloud capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on cloud services.
- Proven expertise with major cloud platforms.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Windows and Linux in the enterprise.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructures, architectures, and security models.
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and database concepts in a cloud environment.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management, and cost optimization for IT Infrastructures.
- Excellent leadership, team building, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with 5+ years of cloud experience preferred.
Preferences:
- Experience with healthcare or PBM-related cloud projects is advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Dev Ops, and EntraID.
Physical Requirements

Regularly operates in an office or home office setting which involves utilizing a computer, mouse, keyboard, and occasionally operating other standard office equipment, such as printer, copier, phone. Travel may be required by either car or airplane, or a combination of multiple modes of transportation.
