The Production Assembler is responsible for learning and performing various assembly tasks within the production department, including working on turrets, subassemblies, inspection, and final assembly of premium riflescopes and optics. This involves manipulating small parts according to instructions, disassembling/reworking product as directed, and performing quality control checks.

Description
- Learns and gains proficiency in various positions within the production department ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive operations including turrets, subassemblies, inspection, and final assembly
- Manipulates and installs small parts and pieces to create subassemblies, premium riflescopes, and other optics by following established working instructions, diagrams, and drawings.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test product and subassemblies according to specific specifications as directed by leads and/or management
- Sort and count products or components before assembling or packaging
- Review products and components for quality control to ensure expectations and specifications are met in accordance with QC and engineering guidelines
- Set up, arrange, and operate hand and/or power tools per the specifications and instructions from supervisor
- Report and discrepancies, damages, and errors to production leads
- Comply with all safety practices and company rules and policies
Requirements

- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Solid work history in any industry will be considered
- Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, focus, and willingness and excitement to learn
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally in a team environment and the ability to work independently
- Must have good dexterity
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times, with or without accommodation.
- Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
- Must have the ability to sit or stand for 10 hours per day
- Must possess a high level of visual acuity, with or without correction
