Job Description
Department - PRODUCTION
Position - ORDER HANDLER
Location - BUKIT RAJA
Reporting Line - PRODUCTION MANAGER
Key Activities:
• Order receiving, order reviewing and order acknowledgment. Process order is the starting point of where order is received from sales. Order is reviewed and clarified commercially, technical and capacity issues are done and confirmation of the accepted sales order is sent.
• Handling and registration of a sales order in the SAP-system.Order handler acts as a link between sales, project & engineering.
• Fulfil order step Initiate and control engineering, get approval for the design from the project/engineering and organize and monitor purchasing and manufacturing activities for the sales order.
• Drawings and project specifications downloading, updating and printing for production team.
• Work closely with Engineering, PE, Procurement and Supplier on PR, RFQ, PO and material delivery status
• Workload and work capacity analysis and forecasting.
• Workhour collection and analysis.
• Manage post-delivery activities such as managing customer claims and accruals, returns, complete financial- and contractual requirements and listen customer's voice.
• Control shipping and transportation as well as close order for warranty period are steps of order delivery process.
• Other tasks assigned by the superior.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
Qualifications
Key Requirements: Education/Working Experience/Professional Experience/Behavioural Competencies
Skills & Knowledge:
• Bachelor degree, major in mechanical engineering related
• About 3 years steel fabrication related working experience in multinational company will be preferred
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Strong communication skills
• Have knowledge to read and understanding technical/manufacturing drawing
• Costing skills is required
• Excellent knowledge in SAP
• Good at math and statistics
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
Behavioural Competencies:
• Team sprit
• Able to work under pressure
