About the Role

Highway Technician 1 (Mahoning County), PN 20055215

Work Location: Mahoning County Maintenance Facility, 401 West Main St., Canfield, OH 44406

  • You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer. 
  • You will perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing.
  • You will perform snow & ice operations.

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment.  Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
