About The Company
We provide services throughout the state for families whose child receives services through the public behavioral health system. We provide free presentation to local schools and community groujps on mental illness and suicide prevention. We provide support and education groups for parents. We are seeking a passionate Health and Wellness Specialist to support members in the Behavioral Health System through MIFitKID programming and other targeted wellness initiatives. This role empowers children and families to actively participate in their health by delivering strengths-based interventions that promote meaningful, measurable outcomes and long-term well-being.

The Specialist partners closely with children, caregivers, and multidisciplinary care teams to provide coordinated, family-centered services that honor each family’s unique cultural values. Responsibilities include planning and leading individualized and group wellness activities, organizing community-based events, managing an active caseload, coordinating care, maintaining documentation and confidentiality, and contributing to ongoing program development. Some evening and weekend hours may be required.

Requirements

This community-based position requires travel up to 50%, providing services in homes and community settings, and transporting members as needed. Candidates must be able to work independently, communicate effectively, stay organized, and use computers and Microsoft Office products proficiently. A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required (Bachelor’s degree preferred), along with a passion for prevention and healthy lifestyle design.


Physical requirements include prolonged sitting and computer use, frequent standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme weather. A valid Arizona Driver’s License, reliable transportation, required insurance and registration, clean driving record, Fingerprint Clearance (or ability to obtain), and U.S. work authorization are required.
