About the Role

Description

Job Summary: Dominion Due Diligence Group is seeking a highly motivated Noise Compliance Technician to join our team. The Noise Compliance Technician will be responsible for conducting noise surveys to comply with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Noise Abatement and Control requirements. This is an entry-level position and training will be provided.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research and compile noise data for vicinity roads, railways, and airports 
  • Correspondence via email or phone with city, county, or state agencies
  • Create and analyze maps using Google Earth and ArcGIS platforms
  • Complete noise surveys and incorporate feedback from the review
  • Communicate with the manager and relevant environmental staff regarding the status of research/noise surveys


Working Conditions: Standard office environment. Standard weekly shift 8am – 5pm; occasional need to work overtime based on project demand.

  • High-school diploma required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
