Hours & Pay
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:00pm
Pay Range: $24.00-28.00 per hour

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for forming different substrates of sheet metal. These responsibilities include shaping metal, maintaining press brake, reading blueprints, completing inspections, packaging, lifting, and moving of parts & inventory, using a forklift, and following safety regulations. At MCL Fabrication, we use a Mitsubishi Diamond Bend Press Brake.
Responsibilities:
Safety
· Ensure safe working conditions are being maintained in your area.
· Participate in implementation of safety projects when asked.
· Minimizes hazardous wastes from processes, continually seeking alternatives.
Quality
· Adhere to product verification systems in place throughout build process.
· Understands preventative and corrective actions and adheres to them.
Teammate
· Promote teamwork, communicate effectively, and provide feedback on progress to your Team Leader.
· Adhere to company policy and ensure procedures in place are followed.
Technical
· Troubleshooting and problem solving to resolve any equipment or technical issues
· Adhere to technical and quality standards put in place by Team Leader.
Materials and Equipment Utilized:
· Hand and power tools (pliers, screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, etc)
· Computers, printers, etc.
· Forklift
· PPE (safety glasses, gloves, and ear plugs as needed)
Requirements
Education and Training:
· High School Diploma
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Press brake experience is required
· Understanding of how to read blueprints
· Computer skills
· Knowledge of manufacturing basics
· Ability to follow direction
· Flexible and can quickly adjust to change
· Basic use of inspection tooling (tape measures, calipers, etc)
· Good math skills
· Knowledge of different types of material
Travel Requirements:
· Minimal
Physical Requirements:
· Be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and up to 75 lbs. throughout the day
· Sit, stand, and bend throughout the workday
Working Environment:
· 100% Manufacturing: moderate to loud noise, safety glasses and steel toes required
