The Outside Guest Services Attendant provides exceptional service to guests, ensuring that their experience on the golf course is enjoyable and seamless. This position involves a variety of outdoor duties, including customer interaction, golf cart management, and general maintenance of course facilities.
What You’ll Do
Deliver Elevated Member Service
- Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Assist with loading and unloading golf bags and ensuring equipment is handled with care.
- Provide information regarding course conditions, tee times, and club services.
- Address guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience.
Golf Operations & Course Readiness
- Monitor pace of play and offer on-course assistance to maintain an exceptional member experience.
- Assist with daily course setup, including tee markers, water stations, and overall readiness for play.
- Support tournament and special event operations in partnership with Golf Professionals.
- Assist with minor club repair requests and communicate needs to leadership.
Cart & Practice Facility Management
- Ensure golf carts are cleaned, stocked, charged, staged, and maintained in excellent working condition.
- Respond to cart issues and communicate repair needs appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart storage area, podium, cart return, and surrounding spaces.
- Oversee practice facility presentation, including range ball management, towel service, and upkeep of putting greens.
Inventory & Operational Support
- Assist with inventory management of rental clubs, golf bags, range balls, towels, and other amenities.
- Maintain accurate records of stored member equipment, including personal bags and shoes.
- Wash and fold towels, detail golf carts, and clean rental clubs to uphold presentation standards.
- Coordinate clubhouse and cart amenity supplies under the direction of the Supervisor.
Safety & Team Contribution
- Follow all safety procedures related to equipment and cart operations to maintain a secure environment.
- Support valet operations, assisting with vehicle parking and retrieval as needed.
- Contribute as a collaborative team member, stepping into additional responsibilities to support overall club operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Previous experience in the Golf or Customer Service industries a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift items (up to 50lbs) for extended periods of time
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, including managing golf carts and maintaining clean areas
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on course needs.
