Location: Maryville, MO

Bolder Industries Maryville is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plant Administrator to support on-site operations and ensure professional, efficient daily office execution.

This role is critical to plant performance, serving as the administrative backbone that supports production, maintenance, and leadership through organized coordination and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for the facility, managing front-office operations, visitors, phone calls, and general inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Lead basic HR coordination activities, including job posting, recruitment support, and end-to-end onboarding of new team members.
  • Manage escalation of HR-related support issues through resolution, maintaining clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Assist leadership with performance management documentation and disciplinary recordkeeping.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the maintenance and facilities teams, ensuring documentation, coordination, and follow-through are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support plant culture initiatives and engagement efforts, including company events, recognition lunches, town halls, and team-building activities.
  • Coordinate facility-wide communications by ensuring informational posters, newsletters, digital signage, and updates are professionally prepared and properly displayed.
  • Manage visitor experiences and plant tours by organizing materials in advance, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a professional and well-prepared presentation of the facility.
  • Partner with custodial services and plant leadership to maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment that reflects operational discipline.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years Administrative/ HR experience
  • Be a team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Strong computer skills with experience in MS Office, Google Suite preferred
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Working Conditions

This role operates within an active chemical recycling plant that includes exposure to carbon black, liquid hydrocarbon oils, and vapor streams. Protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators) will be required in designated areas. The facility includes indoor and outdoor operations, elevated equipment access, and industrial-grade processing equipment.
