Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Storage Engineer to take a leading role in managing our enterprise-level data infrastructure. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our critical storage systems, with a primary focus on NetApp solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the high availability, security, and peak performance of our data, directly supporting our company's strategic goals.

Educational qualification:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.

Key Tasks
Infrastructure & Operations
• Operation, installation, and configuration of our NetApp NAS and SAN storage environments.• Manage the full hardware lifecycle, from deployment and capacity planning to upgrades and decommissioning.
System Availability & Performance
• Implement and manage high availability solutions, including NetApp MetroCluster.• Proactively monitor system health and performance, ensuring stability and addressing potential issues before they impact the business.
Data & OS Management
• Install, upgrade, and patch storage systems.• Execute complex data migrations and manage storage efficiency using deduplication and snapshot technologies.• Ensure robust security measures are in place across all storage systems.
Process & Quality Excellence
• Maintain meticulous documentation for all systems and processes.• Adhere to and support our IT governance frameworks, including service, problem, and change management.
Preferred Skills :
NetApp Mastery: Deep, hands-on knowledge of NetApp Data ONTAP (Cluster Mode) and high availability solutions like MetroCluster. Strong experience with both FC and iSCSI protocols.
Storage Protocols: Extensive understanding of core storage protocols, including SMB, NFS, iSCSI, and FCP.
Networking: A strong foundation in networking concepts, covering both IP and Fibre Channel networks.
Scripting: Scripting ability in languages such as PowerShell, Perl, or SQL is a significant advantage.
