Job Description

Female Care Assistant – Todmorden

We are looking for a female care assistant to support older people in their own homes. Visits are mainly short “tea visits,” with occasional morning visits. A car and valid driving license are required.

Expected Hours: 10–15 per week
Schedule: Alternate weekends, weekdays negotiable, morning and tea calls
Work Location: Todmorden

Responsibilities:

  • Personal care & medication reminders

  • Meal prep and assistance with eating/drinking

  • Companionship & conversation

  • Accompanying clients to appointments and activities

  • Shopping, household tasks, and prescription collection

Requirements:

  • Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement due to personal care needs)

  • Care experience preferred but not essential

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to follow care plans

Benefits:

  • Mileage allowance (30p/mile)

  • Minimum 1-hour visits

  • 28 days holiday, pension, training & support
