The Aerodynamic Program Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the rapid, on-time delivery of components and assemblies to meet the Aerodynamics Department’s ambitious build and development targets. The role primarily supports the department’s fast-paced wind tunnel testing programmes, acting as a key interface between Planning, Design, Manufacturing, Modelshop, and Engineering teams. The Aerodynamic Project Coordinator ensures production schedules are aligned, resources are coordinated, and delivery expectations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of coordination between Engineering, Design, Modelshop, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Procurement teams to enable seamless delivery of components and assemblies for aerodynamic development programmes
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, monitoring design releases and ensuring smooth transition into manufacturing workflows to meet development and testing targets
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels, schedule re-orders, and coordinate manufacturing and procurement activities to guarantee timely component availability
  • Proactively identify risks to production or delivery, implementing solutions to mitigate delays and bottlenecks where possible
  • Communicate delivery exceptions and potential risks promptly to stakeholders, managing expectations and facilitating swift resolution
  • Maintain clear, proactive, and structured communication with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment across projects and teams
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of production delivery tools, software, and processes; contribute to continuous process improvements and workflow optimisations
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret production and delivery data to monitor timelines, identify trends, and drive improvements in efficiency, cycle times, and overall programme delivery

  • Strong communicator and collaborator, capable of building relationships across technical and operational teams
  • Knowledgeable in production, manufacturing, and supply chain processes, with experience in high-performance engineering environments preferred
  • Comfortable with data analysis and workflow optimisation, using metrics to drive continuous improvement
