Kalos Services is a family-owned company with more than 20 years of experience, founded in Central Florida. We specialize in commercial HVAC-R, Electrical, Plumbing, and Building Automation, supporting large retail, grocery, and commercial facilities throughout Florida.

We’re looking for a Commercial HVAC Superintendent who can lead from the front, run large-scale commercial HVAC projects, and set the production tempo for our field teams.

The Commercial HVAC Superintendent is the senior field leader responsible for:

  • Owning onsite HVAC production
  • Driving schedule performance
  • Managing foremen and crews
  • Coordinating with PMs and other trades
  • Ensuring safety, quality, and accountability

Compensation: $36.00 - $42.00 hourly based on experience


Schedule:  Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm with ability to work weekends and out of town as needed. 



Responsibilities



Field Leadership & Production

  • Lead multiple HVAC foremen and field crews
  • Drive installation of ductwork, RTUs, split systems, exhaust systems, and specialty mechanical systems
  • Maintain production pace aligned with project schedule
  • Plan manpower and material flow proactively
  • Hold crews accountable for daily measurable output



Project Execution

  • Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and mechanical plans
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trades
  • Run weekly production meetings with foremen
  • Identify conflicts early and solve them before they impact schedule
  • Oversee inspections and ensure work is ready before calling for inspection



Quality & Safety

  • Enforce OSHA standards and Kalos safety expectations
  • Conduct site safety walks and toolbox talks
  • Ensure installs meet code and design specifications
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites


Culture & Accountability

  • Build a culture of ownership, discipline, and urgency
  • Develop foremen into strong leaders
  • Address performance issues immediately and professionally
  • Set the tone for attitude, professionalism, and execution
     

Requirements

 

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC field experience
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent-level role
  • Experience on large commercial projects (schools, retail, medical, hospitality, multi-family, etc.)
  • Strong blueprint and mechanical plan reading skills
  • Proven ability to manage manpower and drive schedule
  • OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license
