Parc Center for Disabilities is seeking a strong, people-centered Adult Day Training Supervisor to lead and support our Direct Support Professional (DSP) team within our Adult Community Programs.


This is more than a supervisory role. It is an opportunity to shape daily experiences for adults with developmental disabilities by ensuring meaningful engagement, quality programming, and a safe, structured environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise 10–15 Direct Support Professionals
  • Ensure health, safety, and quality programming standards are maintained daily
  • Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Monitor engagement levels and ensure active treatment expectations are met
  • Oversee documentation compliance in Therap and iConnect
  • Participate in Support Plan meetings and collaborate with Support Coordinators
  • Assist with crisis management and behavioral intervention as needed
  • Coordinate activities and community outings with internal and external partners
  • Support onboarding, training, and 30-60-90 day reviews of DSPs
  • Monitor training compliance and floor coverage
  • Address attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters in partnership with Senior Manager
  • Take rotating on-call responsibility for scheduling and staffing support
  • Step into daily operations in the absence of the Senior Manager

This is an on-site leadership role within our Adult Day Program.

Requirements

 

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading direct care staff
  • 3 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of Waiver-funded programs and Medicaid compliance preferred
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
