Pace Solano is seeking a dedicated Temporary Program Manager to lead one of our licensed day programs. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while guiding a team committed to providing respectful, person-centered services in a positive and supportive environment.
About the Role
Under the direction of the Director of Programs and Training, the Program Manager oversees daily program operations, supervises staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports individuals in achieving their personal, social, and employment goals. This position combines leadership, organization, compliance oversight, and direct engagement to ensure high-quality service delivery.
What You’ll Do:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise, mentor, and support Program Coordinator(s) and direct support staff
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet program needs
- Facilitate monthly staff meetings and ensure completion of mandatory trainings
- Review and approve timesheets, time-off requests, billing, supply orders, and required documentation
- Conduct annual evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback
- Partner with Human Resources in recruitment and hiring
Program Oversight & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate daily attendance and scheduling records
- Review and verify monthly billing submissions
- Maintain participant master files and documentation in approved formats
- Ensure timely completion of required reports (IPCSPs, SIRs, behavior documentation, daily notes, etc.)
- Oversee consultant sign-ins and monthly reporting
Licensing & Safety:
- Ensure programming and facility operations meet licensing requirements
- Uphold agency safety policies and procedures
- Oversee site Safety Representative duties
- Attend agency safety meetings and conduct required site meetings
- Coordinate with the Licensing and Safety Director as needed
Participant Services & Admissions:
- Review referrals and coordinate participant visitations
- Conduct and/or supervise participant intakes
- Collaborate with Executive Management on specialized support plans (e.g., Health Care Plans, behavior plans)
- Ensure all required documentation is in place prior to program enrollment
Communication & Professional Standards:
- Maintain positive communication with participants, families, referral agencies, staff, and community partners
- Report suspected abuse in accordance with Mandated Reporter regulations
- Attend required trainings and meetings, including those outside typical work hours when necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support program success.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift, transfer, push, pull, bend, turn, or pivot up to 38 lbs.
- Ability to assist participants, including individuals who use wheelchairs
- Ability to occasionally sustain a forward bend while supporting participants during activities and meals
Requirements
- BA in psychology, social work or a related human services field and a minimum of one year experience in the management of a human services delivery system OR 3 years of experience in a human services delivery system including at least one year in a management position.
- Valid CA driver’s license, proof of insurance for a car that can be used during work time, acceptable DMV printout
- Must pass pre-placement physical which includes a skin T.B. test or chest x-ray, breath alcohol test (BAT), drug screen, and pre-work screen (back evaluation which includes the ability to lift/transfer/push/pull/bend/turn/pivot up to 38 lbs. occasionally and the ability to sustain a forward bend occasionally)
- FBI/DOJ fingerprint clearance
Special Skills:
Computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Organizational, Supervisory, Ability to Train Others
Salary:
$29.00 an hour, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday-Friday)
