South Beach Manor, our beautiful memory care community in South Beach, OR is looking for a Life Enrichment Coordinator! As part of our team, you will plan and coordinate activities that enrich the lives of our lovely residents. Job Summary:


The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for the development and coordination of meaningful and enriching activity programs that reflects the varied interests of our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. The LEC will develop programming that encompasses all facets of an individual’s being: physical, social, intellectual, artistic, and spiritual, which includes activities inside and outside of the community. You will also be responsible for the recruitment, training, and coordination of volunteer members and the cultivation of staff involvement in activities.

Requirements

Schedule:

  • Full-Time
  • Day Shift

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to lead a large group of residents and support their individual needs
  • Physically fit enough to lead senior exercise programs, active games, and outdoor activities.
  • Must be able to lift 25-40 pounds routinely
  • Excellent problem solving & communication with residents, family members, & other staff
  • Prior experience coordinating activities, or in Assisted Living/Memory Care, is a PLUS!
