The Barminco Graduate Program lets you learn industry-leading, safe practices from some of the most skilled underground miners in the world. 

Graduates rotate through each underground role, learning what it truly means to be part of a team whilst gaining the experience necessary to sit their First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate or Underground Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency. 

Additionally, the program includes an office-based role where you are given the opportunity to optimise mine processes and hone your project engineering skills.

Key Requirements: 

 

  • Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering. 

  • A strong desire to expand practical underground knowledge. 

  • Previous site experience working underground or open pit. 

  • Proficient use of MS Office suite. 

  • Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid manual Driver’s Licence). 

  • The right to work permanently in Australia.
