Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, permanent Med Surg opportunity in Hudson, Florida.

In this role, the Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care environment. This position requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients.

Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and monitor patient response.

Maintain and review patient medical records, including posting test results and examination findings.

Instruct patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.

Provide compassionate care while maintaining safety, quality, and service excellence standards.

Utilize critical thinking skills to manage patient needs in a fast-paced acute care setting.

COMPENSATION AND DIFFERENTIALS:

Hourly Pay Range:

$30.00 – $42.00 per hour based on years of experience

Additional Compensation:

Night shift differential: $4.75 per hour

Weekend differential: $3.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus:

Up to $25,000 paid out in 6-month increments

Relocation Assistance:

Case by case

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
• Compact license holders must obtain active Florida licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Previous acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
• Candidates with 2–3 years of LTACH experience will be considered and trained.
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
• Basic PC skills required.
• Onsite interviews are required for this role.
