Job Description
- To conduct PADI courses of all levels in compliance with PADI standards and regulations, while providing a professional and friendly atmosphere.
- To guide divers and snorkelers of different levels to the sites in the area.
- To manage the dive desk reception by handling guest reservations, diver registrations, and issuing dive equipment and the marine centre.
- To assist in the retail shop by handling snorkeling rentals and answering phone calls in accordance with resort standards.
- To prepare gear for students and boat divers before their arrival.
- To attend daily marine centre briefings.
- To attend guest parties or gatherings organized by diveOceanus.
- To support and participate in Project AWARE projects / other events organized by C/O diveOceanus or Resort.
- To complete incident reports effectively and keep communicating with the insurance provider during an incident management case filing.
- To load and unload dive tanks and dive bags onto the dive boat before and after dives.
- To transport dive tanks and bags between the marine centre and dive jetty.
- To assist in loading and unloading client equipment.
- To assist clients rinsing their dive equipment
- To assemble and disassemble client dive equipment●To thoroughly clean all dive equipment according to the cleaning schedule.
Qualifications
●GCE O-Level or equivalent.
●PADI certified dive master with renewed certification and teaching status.
●Familiar with the PADI digital teaching system
●Emergency First Response (EFR) certification.
●Professional role model with high personal and work standards.
●Good command of written and spoken English.
●Capable of maintaining and servicing dive center equipment.
●Strong interpersonal skills; able to work calmly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
●Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet browsing, and email communication.
●SAMPa and PADI snorkeling Guide Certification
