Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Write clear, compelling, and engaging content across multiple digital channels for local, regional, and national brands
- Use AI tools to accelerate content workflows including ideation, outlining, first drafts, variations, and repurposing—while maintaining originality, accuracy, and brand voice
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve creative goals and develop key deliverables for client and internal projects, including blogs, email campaigns, social media posts, website content, and brand style guides
- Research, write, and optimize blog posts that attract and engage readers while supporting SEO objectives
- Take a pivotal role in new website projects, organizing sitemap structures, delivering website copy, and working closely with graphic designers and developers through launch
- Create captivating social media content, including captions, hashtags, hooks, and multimedia copy, using AI to generate options and test messaging angles
- Develop brand messages (taglines, slogans, positioning statements) that speak to client value propositions in a creative and fresh way, using AI for ideation and iteration
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ideas and unique campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement
- Stay updated on AI capabilities, content trends, platform developments, and digital marketing best practices
- Adapt writing style and tone to match diverse brand voices and campaign needs, including creating AI prompt guidance aligned to each brand voice
- Ensure all content is delivered on time, adhering to project deadlines and editorial calendars
- Prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining high-quality standards
- Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, consistency, and factual accuracy before publication, including validating AI-assisted outputs
- Monitor content performance and refine strategies based on analytics and feedback; use AI to identify improvement opportunities and generate testable hypotheses
Skills & Qualifications
- A digital-first mindset and strong understanding of the modern channels, especially social media, video, mobile web, and advertising channels
- Advanced writing and editing skills with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice
- Strong working knowledge of AI writing and productivity tools (e.g., generative AI for drafting, summarization, ideation, and content variations) and the judgement to use them responsibly
- Ability to fact-check, cite sources internally when needed, and prevent AI inaccuracies from reaching publication
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, keyword research tools (like SEMrush), email platforms (Klaviyo, Campaign Monitor, etc.) and Meta Business Suite or another social scheduling platform is preferred
- Team oriented with a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to express ideas clearly to clients and management
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to be a hands-on contributor who improves systems and workflows
- Professional self-starter with strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent follow-through in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
