Oakes Farms is hiring for all 3 of its retail stores in Naples Florida: Seed to Table (our flagship store), Oakes Farms Market, and Food & Thought. Seed to Table is a two-story grocery store in Naples, Florida selling farm-fresh produce from Oakes Farms. Featuring an in-store butcher shop, fish market, and full-service bakery, plus an incredible wine section and beer cave, 3 different bars, and multiple restaurants with different cuisines for dine-in. Seed to Table is a hot spot for local entertainment, with live music every night of the week. Oakes Farms Market on Davis Blvd in Naples has all the major pantry necessities too like a large selection of dry goods, dairy items, fresh meats, and seafood. The full-service deli department features a daily menu of hot entrees and assortment of tasty salads. The bakery is filled with fresh-baked breads and sweet treats including cakes, pies and cookies. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has an interest in wine, and takes pride in creating an outstanding shopping experience while helping guests select wines that fit their taste, occasion, and budget.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized wine recommendations and product education, including food pairings.
• Maintain strong knowledge of wines, varietals, regions, producers, and flavor profiles.
• Promote featured wines, seasonal selections, and new arrivals to support department sales goals.
• Support revenue growth through suggestive selling and upselling techniques.
• Execute merchandising standards, including shelf organization, product rotation, pricing accuracy, and display presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock as needed, and ensure product availability.
• Implement promotional displays, seasonal resets, and special event setups in alignment with planograms.
• Comply with all store policies and federal, state, and local alcohol regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, professional, and performance-driven environment.

Qualifications:

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Wine knowledge or strong interest in learning about wine
Strong communication and guest engagement skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Ability to lift and move wine cases (up to 40 lbs)
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays .

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot, humid, and cold environments.
• Ability to tolerate moderate levels of dust and cleaning agents.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move as needed throughout the shift.
• Ability to use step-stools or ladders safely and maintain balance while performing tasks.
• Manual dexterity sufficient for handling products and operating equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a busy environment.
• Adequate vision (near, far, and peripheral) and hearing to safely perform job duties.
