Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing outpatient team in Birmingham, Alabama.

This position is 100% outpatient with a Monday–Friday schedule and light monthly call rotation. You’ll provide high-quality psychiatric care in a collaborative, supportive environment, working alongside and supervising mid-level providers

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders. 
  • Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care. 
  • Collaborate and supervise mid-level providers to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. 
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation per facility standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry (ABPN). 
  • Active or eligible medical license in State that you are applying to 
  • Experience or strong interest in addiction treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 
  • Strong leadership and teaching skills, with a collaborative approach to care. 
  • Previous experience supervising mid-level providers is a plus.
