Northern Tier Counseling, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time office cleaner for approximately 8–10 hours per week. This position is responsible for weekly cleaning of two office locations, including office spaces, common areas, restrooms, fitness/wellness areas, and entryways. The role ensures a clean, safe, and presentable environment for both staff and visitors. Hours are flexible and may be scheduled in coordination with the supervisor.
Requirements
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all offices, desks, office equipment, and front lobby areas.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and light switches.
- Clean front windows, interior glass, and maintain all entrance areas.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors in both buildings.
- Remove all trash and replace liners in receptacles.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms (toilets, sinks, counters, fixtures, mirrors).
- Refill and maintain restroom dispensers.
- Clean water fountains, kitchen sinks, counters, and tables.
- Maintain clean glass on entry and interior doors.
- Clean and maintain fitness and wellness areas.
- Ensure all areas remain tidy and free of debris.
- Use company-provided cleaning supplies and equipment following all safety guidelines.
- Report maintenance needs, safety issues, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull cleaning equipment and supplies up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling.
- Must be able to travel between assigned office locations if required.
- Current/valid driver’s license may be required depending on work sites.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work is performed in professional office environments including clinical and administrative areas.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and follow written cleaning instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, and visitors when needed.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- Ability to recognize cleaning or maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Strict adherence to patient confidentiality, HIPAA requirements, and all agency privacy standards is mandatory.
