The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators in a longitudinal research project concerning the impact of adverse housing conditions on children in Hong Kong, primarily by supporting literature review and data analysis. Duties also include writing academic reports, liaising with various parties, and performing ad hoc research duties as needed.

We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:
Providing support in literature review and data analysis;
Writing academic reports;
Liaising with academic staff, NGO workers, and other relevant parties;
Providing ad hoc research duties on some weekends/public holidays/weekday evenings; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned to support the operation of the research project.
A recognized Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Sciences;
Experience in carrying out quantitative and qualitative research;
Competence in computer skills (MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint, and Nvivo);
Detail-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated;
A high level of English and Chinese (Cantonese) proficiency and effective communication and organisation skills; and
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet multiple deadlines.
