Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and analytically-minded Revenue Manager to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. In this pivotal role, you will drive revenue optimization strategies across all revenue streams, working collaboratively with senior leadership to maximize profitability and market positioning. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail, translating complex market data into actionable business decisions that propel organizational growth.

  • Develop, lead, and communicate comprehensive commercial strategies in conjunction with senior management to drive revenue growth and market competitiveness
  • Analyze and optimize all revenue streams, identifying opportunities and risks that add measurable value to organizational performance
  • Oversee day-to-day management of reservations and sales operations, ensuring seamless execution of pricing strategies and revenue maximization initiatives
  • Conduct rigorous commercial analysis and evaluation of revenue decisions, maintaining accuracy and integrity across all financial assessments
  • Develop and implement robust pricing strategies for all revenue segments, ensuring competitive positioning and optimal rate realization
  • Create and refine advanced measurement tools and performance benchmarking mechanisms to track revenue stream performance against market standards
  • Take full ownership and accountability for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across all revenue lines, providing timely and transparent insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual revenue plans, including food and beverage, rooms, and ancillary revenue optimization
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis and market intelligence reviews to ensure pricing parity, information accuracy, and strategic positioning
  • Lead recruitment, development, and succession planning initiatives for revenue and reservations teams
  • Perform feasibility studies and ad-hoc commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders regarding commercial performance, market trends, and revenue-generating activities

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or yield management roles within a B2C environment
  • Advanced analytical skills with demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling, data analysis, and demand forecasting
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems, hotel property management systems (PMS), and analytical tools
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing and revenue optimization strategies that delivered measurable results
  • Strong ability to translate complex data sets and market intelligence into clear, actionable business insights
  • Demonstrated expertise in forecasting methodologies, demand modeling, and market trend analysis
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and managing collaborative initiatives across multiple departments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to present findings to senior leadership
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management and P&L responsibility

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience in the hospitality industry, specifically hotel or resort revenue management
  • Knowledge of regional market dynamics and competitive landscape in India
  • Certification in Revenue Management or related professional credential
  • Experience with advanced revenue management software and business intelligence platforms
  • Familiarity with hotel operations across multiple revenue centers (rooms, food and beverage, ancillary services)
  • Track record of mentoring and developing high-performing revenue teams
