J.D. Fulwiler & Company is seeking a dedicated Senior Personal Lines Account Manager to service and support an assigned book of personal lines business. This position is responsible for delivering high-level customer service, managing renewals, and generating additional revenue through account rounding and cross-selling in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned book of personal lines accounts
• Coordinate renewal processes, including conducting renewal reviews 60–90 days in advance
• Process endorsements, billing inquiries, policy changes, and documentation accurately and timely
• Respond to client communications in a professional and prompt manner
• Provide accurate information to underwriters and carrier partners
• Generate new personal lines business through cross-selling, account rounding, referrals, quoting, binding, and policy delivery
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation within the agency management system
• Remain current on insurance markets, coverage changes, and industry trends
• Maintain active and compliant state insurance licensing
• Adhere to all J.D. Fulwiler & Company policies, procedures, standards, and ethical guidelines

Compensation: Pay will be based on job knowledge and years of experience in the insurance industry.

Requirements

• Active and compliant Property & Casualty insurance license
• 8+ years of personal lines account management experience
• Proven experience in insurance customer service, account management, or related roles
• Strong understanding of home, auto, umbrella, and high-value personal lines coverages, products, and industry practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accountability
• Commitment to ethical standards and compliance with agency policies
• Educational background in insurance or a related field preferred


Physical Requirements

This position requires regular sitting, use of hands for keyboarding, and frequent communication via phone and email. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of typical office materials may be required.
