Lifeguards from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day.

Hidden Hollow Swim Club and Knowlton Swim Club are premiere outdoor aquatics facilities nestled in the hollows of Linvilla Orchards. Both pools offer competitive aquatics teams, swim schools, lap swimming and pool rentals. Knowlton Swim Club features a 25-meter swimmers' pool, a toddlers' pool, an intermediate pool, diving boards, diving platform & slides. Hidden Hollow Swim Club boasts an impressive selection of pools including a 50-meter Olympic pool, a 25-meter lap pool, a cloverleaf of 3 children's pools: 1', 2' and 3' deep, as well as slides, diving boards & platforms.

Lifeguards are responsible for:

• Ensuring the safety of the pool members, the facility is clean and safe, and all members are welcomed into a friendly environment.
• Assist with maintaining a clean facility and other responsibilities while on rotation and away from actively lifeguarding.
• Exhibit diligence with regards to aquatics safety protocols
• Follow, understand, and enforce safety rules, policies, and guidelines at all times with fairness and courtesy.
• Display outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Stay on alert on the lifeguard stand and prepared to respond to emergencies in and out of the water.
• Practice proactive pool scanning, maintain an unobstructed and uninterrupted view of the pools while in use.
• Know all emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations immediately in accordance with our swim club safety plans.
• Maintain equipment and perform daily facility cleaning and maintenance task as directed by supervisors and/or the operations manual.

Requirements

• Must have current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications or willing to take certification courses. 
• Self-motivated, capable or working on own, able to stand, walk, sit during a shift, work in a humid, warm environment, effective decision-making skills and complete onsite lifeguard in-service skills on a regular basis.
• Must be fifteen years of age or older.
