Job Summary 


The Marketing Manager will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of our overall marketing strategy. Working closely with the Vice President of Marketing, this individual will help create, implement, track, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with a strong focus on traditional marketing efforts including print, direct mail, out-of-home (OOH), email, and field marketing.

We’re seeking a proactive, results-driven professional who takes ownership and confidently leads campaigns from concept through completion. This role requires someone who can manage details, coordinate vendors and partners, oversee event planning and execution, and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while maintaining brand consistency and performance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including direct response marketing, digital campaigns, email marketing, media buying, and traditional advertising.
  • Oversee the strategy, planning, execution, and performance tracking of Hunter’s direct mail campaigns to ensure effectiveness and ROI.
  • Support and help drive commercial marketing efforts, including campaigns, collateral development, prospect targeting, and strategies focused on business customer acquisition and retention.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute Hunter-centered events, as well as represent the company at local festivals, parades, trade shows, and community events.
  • Represent Hunter in the local community as a media spokesperson and at public speaking engagements.
  • Analyze marketing data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends, customer behaviors, and growth opportunities.
  • Assist in managing community partnerships, including local Chambers of Commerce, Rotary clubs, and other organizations.
  • Support internal communications to ensure employees are aligned with Hunter’s external messaging, mission, vision, and values.
  • Collaborate with the commercial and residential sales teams to support marketing initiatives, including the creation of marketing materials and targeted lead lists.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5–8+ years of progressive marketing experience with a strong background in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across traditional channels such as direct mail, print advertising, out-of-home (OOH), and email marketing. 
  • The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing timelines, vendors, production schedules, budgets, and performance tracking, and understands how to drive measurable results through well-executed campaigns
  • Proven experience supporting both residential and commercial (B2B) marketing initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events and community-based marketing efforts
  • Experience analyzing marketing performance through data, KPIs, and campaign reporting to evaluate effectiveness and optimize future initiatives

Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees, executives, customers, and community stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking paired with strong operational execution skills
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fiber broadband or telecommunications operations
  • Experience with Salesforce, MailChimp, and Adobe Creative Suite 

Working Conditions

  • Capacity to work 2-4 evening/weekend events per month to foster community engagement at festivals, tradeshows, etc.
  • Regular travel within the Central Point, Grants Pass, and Klamath Falls service areas

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to visit active construction and operational sites, which may include uneven terrain and outdoor environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer system
  • Visual and auditory ability sufficient to perform essential job functions safely
