As a Senior Designer in our 3d-identity studio, you will lead the development of immersive, brand-driven spaces that bring client stories to life within built environments. You’ll collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams including Creative, Project Management, and Business Development to translate strategic objectives into innovative, high-impact design solutions. From concept through execution, you will guide the creative process, mentor junior designers, and confidently present ideas to clients while ensuring alignment with brand standards and project goals. Success in this role is measured by client satisfaction, design innovation, project delivery, and your ability to elevate brand presence through experiential design.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the design of diverse experiential graphic design projects including branded environments, signage, and wayfinding systems that integrate with the built environment.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and creative teams through design workshops, project meetings, and reviews to define goals, align solutions with brand objectives, and support a high-performing studio culture.
  • Lead creative research and project kickoffs to develop technically informed, brand-aligned design concepts that reflect client identity and spatial goals.
  • Confidently present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, clearly communicating rationale and incorporating feedback.
  • Partner with architects, interior designers, and fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy in construction documentation.
  • Produce detailed fabrication and installation documentation with a strong understanding of materials, production methods, and ADA compliance for signage and wayfinding.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, materials, and experiential graphic design innovations to continuously elevate design quality.
  • Mentor and provide creative direction to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration across disciplines by actively participating in cross-functional meetings and creative sessions.
  • Uphold high standards of design excellence, innovation, and brand alignment across all phases of project delivery.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years of professional experience specifically in Environmental Graphic Design, either in a dedicated EGD firm or within an EGD studio of an architecture/interiors practice.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
  • You bring deep expertise in designing branded environments, wayfinding systems, exterior and interior signage, and interior experiential graphics, with a strong understanding of ADA compliance and fabrication methods.
  • You are highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Experience with 3D modeling and rendering using tools such as Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • You have working knowledge of AutoCAD, and familiarity with motion design tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere) or additional 3D software.
  • You bring hands-on experience in brand development, ideally from a brand or design agency environment, including leading or contributing to the creation of brands from the ground up.
  • You understand architectural scales and construction documentation and can confidently read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
  • You apply exceptional creativity and design thinking to deliver innovative, functional, and brand-aligned design solutions.
  • You have strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and trends relevant to experiential, interior, and graphic design within the built environment.
  • You are an effective communicator, able to clearly present concepts and collaborate across teams and with clients.
  • You are a proven leader and mentor who supports junior designers and contributes to a collaborative, high-performing studio culture.
