Position Overview:

As a Product Owner at Johnson Health Tech, you will partner across global teams to not only support our existing fitness platforms, but also design, build, & deliver the next generation of fitness products.

The Product Owner II is responsible for maximizing product value by owning and prioritizing the team backlog, aligning roadmap initiatives with business strategy, and ensuring successful product delivery within an Agile framework.

Responsibilities:

· Contribute to product vision and roadmap planning.

· Translate strategic objectives into prioritized features and epics.

· Support business case development

· Own and maintain a refined, prioritized product backlog.

· Write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria.

· Ensure backlog readiness ahead of sprint planning.

· Make scope and priority decisions to optimize value delivery.

· Accept or reject completed work based on defined criteria.

· Serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.

· Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

· Communicate product progress, risks, and dependencies.

· Align cross-functional teams on scope, tradeoffs, and timelines.

· Identify and manage cross-team dependencies.

· Escalate risks and impediments appropriately.

Requirements

Required:

· Minimum of a 4-year degree in computer science, information systems or business OR equivalent experience.

· 3 + years of experience in a Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or related roles

Preferred:

· Experience operating in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Strong understanding of backlog management, story writing, and sprint ceremonies.

· Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
