The Laser Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) Laser cutting equipment according to specifications or verbal instructions. Key duties include checking products for correct shapes and dimensions, potentially moving materials, documenting work, and performing basic equipment maintenance.

The Laser Operator is a key part of our current Crown West Production team. This opportunity suits an individual who is meticulous and enjoys being part of a dynamic, high-energy workplace.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Laser machine operator:
· Read specifications or follow verbal instructions
· Set up and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) Laser cutting equipment,
· Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
· May select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist
· May document work completed
· May clean or lubricate equipment and replace parts as required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Previous experience in related position
· Completion of secondary school education or relevant training
· Able to monitor, control, analyze and troubleshoot.
· Mechanical aptitude
· Strong attention to detail and focus on safety
· Good communication skills
· Basic computer skills for inventory and job tracking
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
