Grill Front-of-House Support (Hosts & Bussers)

JOB SUMMARY

We are hiring for Front-of-House support positions at the Bear Tooth Grill. We are looking for hosts and bussers who are committed to providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. 

The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and be team players. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required. If you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere, we encourage you to apply for our Front-of-House support positions.

We are hiring for weekend and weekday availability. Part-time and full-time positions available. 

Requirements

Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required. On-the-job tools and training provided.

Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions

1. Stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
2. Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
3. Lift and carry 30+ lbs
4. Communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments
5. Organization and prioritization skills
6. Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
7. Bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently
8. Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
