The portfolio comprises of 11 aggregations totaling approximately ~150,000 hectares, with a balanced distribution across production zones. Warakirri Cropping employs full-time farm staff who are responsible for the day-to-day management of the properties. On-farm employees are supported by a specialised management and administration team based in Melbourne. Contract service providers are utilised for some farming operations.

Job Description

What does a Machinery Operator at Warakirri Cropping do?

  • You will be operating farm machinery, including but not limited to, tasks associated with spraying, paddock preparation, planting, spreading, cartage and harvest.
  • At Warakirri Cropping you get to work with the newest equipment and innovative technology and using these, you will observe and monitor crop health and progress.
  • Assisting with the testing and recording of grain quality as well as the safe storage and handling of grain during and post-harvest.
  • The most important thing, if you want to learn something, just ask!! Warakirri Cropping is all about helping our staff development and are always open to our staff learning new things.
