Care Assistant – Pewsey (SN9), Marlborough & Devizes 
Part-Time | Average 30 Hours | £19,778 (Guide Salary) 

At Home Instead, we believe care is personal. We support older adults to remain independent, comfortable, and connected in their own homes — and we’re looking for kind, compassionate people to join our friendly team covering Pewsey, Marlborough and Devizes. 

Job Description

Your Role 

As a Care Assistant, you’ll build meaningful relationships with regular clients and provide high-quality, person-centred care, including: 

  • Personal care and daily support 

  • Meal preparation and medication assistance 

  • Companionship, conversation and reassurance 

  • Support with outings, appointments and pet care 

Working With Us 

  • Average 30 hours per week 

  • Availability required between 8am – 10pm (split shifts) 

  • Alternate weekends, with a day off in lieu 

  • Paid client introductions, so you feel confident and supported from day one 

What We Offer 

  • Paid travel and waiting time, plus 45p per mile mileage allowance 

  • 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)

  • Full training provided to achieve your Care Certificate and beyond 

  • Ongoing support from a welcoming local team 
    (Previous care experience is preferred but not essential.) 

Qualifications

What You’ll Need 

  • A caring, dependable, and professional approach 

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to the rural nature of our client base) 

  • Right to work in the UK 

An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
