Are you a skilled technician with a passion for hands-on work and problem-solving? AC Nelsen RV World, America’s oldest RV dealership, is looking for experienced and entry-level Service Technicians to join our growing team!

  • Diagnose and repair RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
  • Work with a team of professionals in a fast-paced service environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in RV, automotive, marine, or HVAC repair (preferred but not required)
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for customer service and problem-solving

The RV Technician / Mechanic must be organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently. Hours will vary between 8 am-5 pm Tuesday-Saturday, or Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based upon business needs.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS


Considerable knowledge of:

  • Methods, materials, tools and techniques used in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Diagnosing mechanical problems and performing repairs.
  • Safety practices and procedures.

Working knowledge of:

  • Paint and body work.
  • Mechanical design and fabrication.
  • Electrical systems, including computerized induction/ignition systems.

Skill in:

  • Use of power and hand tools.
  • Use of diagnostic equipment.
  • Operation of vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.

Ability to:

  • Work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Work extended hours out of doors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, including manufacturers’ service specifications.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Education:


Experience and/or training in recreational vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
