At Parc Center for Disabilities, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience life to the fullest. Our Discovery Learning Center is a warm, inclusive preschool serving children ages 2 months to 5 years, including children with diverse abilities.


We are currently seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our infant classroom team to provide attentive care and early developmental support to our youngest learners.

What You’ll Do

As an Infant Teacher, you will help support the earliest stages of development in a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom environment for infants
  • Supporting early development through age-appropriate sensory play and interaction
  • Providing attentive care including feeding, diapering, soothing, and supervision
  • Tracking developmental progress and milestones
  • Communicating regularly with families about daily activities and progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and classroom records
  • Working collaboratively with the Discovery Learning Center team
  • Following Pinellas County Childcare Licensing Standards and all safety requirements
  • Our classrooms are staffed based on children’s needs, not just minimum ratios, allowing you to focus on quality care, strong relationships, and meaningful instruction.

Requirements

  

What We’re Looking For

  • Completion of the 45 DCF clock hours required for childcare staff
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) or formal early childhood education preferred
  • Experience working with infants or in an early childhood setting preferred
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., active supervision)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to support infants through early developmental milestones

Schedule

Monday–Friday
8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
This position will serve as the closer for the infant classroom
