Now Hiring: Grounds Maintenance Technician

Do you enjoy working outdoors and taking pride in well-maintained spaces? Vacatia is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Grounds Maintenance Technician to help keep our property safe, clean, and visually inviting for our guests and owners. This role is essential to the daily care of our exterior amenities—including landscaping, irrigation systems, and our popular outdoor mini golf course. If you enjoy hands-on work, variety in your day, and being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Repair, replace, and troubleshoot irrigation systems (sprinklers, drip lines, valves, controllers)
Support landscaping efforts such as planting, trimming, pruning, weeding, mulching, and seasonal work
Maintain and clean the outdoor mini golf course to ensure it’s safe, functional, and guest-ready
Power wash walkways, patios, structures, and exterior amenities
Keep outdoor spaces clean, organized, and visually appealing
Assist with exterior beautification and general grounds improvement projects
Monitor plant health, irrigation coverage, and soil conditions
Perform scheduled weed-spraying using approved chemicals and equipment
Collaborate with maintenance, housekeeping, and pool teams as needed
Maintain tools and equipment and follow all safety procedures

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Experience in irrigation systems, landscaping, or grounds maintenance (preferred)
Pool maintenance or repair knowledge is a plus
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic repair and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
Ability to lift, carry, and move tools and materials
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
