About the Role
We're looking for a Director of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization across multiple disciplines. You'll directly manage a team of development managers and tech leads spanning .NET, PHP, native mobile, and front-end — driving execution, culture, and technical excellence across the board. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and product delivery.
What You Will Do
- Lead, mentor and grow development managers and their respective teams
- Foster a high-performance culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Define and execute architecture strategy and technical roadmap
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to recruit and retain top talent, including the establishment of career frameworks, growth paths, and performance processes.
- Own engineering delivery across all pods — setting clear goals, tracking progress against OKRs, and removing blockers
- Partner with Product and Design to refine roadmaps, scope features, and ensure reliable, predictable releases
- Partner with Project Management to track engineering KPIs and drive accountability
- Serve as the primary engineering liaison to Product, Design, QA, Customer Success, and executive leadership
- Partner with Security, DevOps, and IT to maintain a reliable, secure, and scalable platform
- Evaluate and improve development workflows, tooling, and SDLC practices across disciplines
- Drive consistency in engineering standards (code reviews, documentation, testing practices) while respecting the nuances of each technology stack
What You Bring
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in engineering leadership managing managers
- Proven track record of building, scaling, and leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in a SaaS environment, including hiring and talent development.
- Experience owning end-to-end product delivery — from roadmap planning through deployment and support
- Skilled at navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across teams with competing priorities
- Technical background with any of our core stacks: C#/.NET, PHP, iOS/Android native development, modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
- Experience running OKR or similar goal-setting frameworks across engineering teams
- Clear, direct communication, tailoring messaging for engineers, product leaders, and executives alike
- Demonstrated data-driven decision making using metrics to surface problems and drive improvements
