About the Role

Description

The Turndown Attendant is responsible for preparing guest rooms for the evening by providing thoughtful turndown service that enhances the guest experience. This role ensures guest rooms are refreshed, clean, and welcoming while maintaining the luxury service standards of Boar’s Head Resort and Birdwood Mansion. The Turndown Attendant delivers personalized service, attention to detail, and a warm hospitality presence to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and relaxing stay.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evening turndown service for guest rooms according to resort standards.
  • Refresh guest rooms by adjusting bedding, replacing towels, and replenishing amenities.
  • Prepare beds for evening use, including turndown presentation and room ambiance.
  • Ensure guest rooms are clean, organized, and properly prepared for the evening.
  • Remove used items, empty trash, and tidy guest areas as needed.
  • Restock supplies such as linens, towels, and amenities.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and follow Forbes Travel Guide service standards.
  • Report maintenance concerns or room issues to housekeeping leadership.
  • Follow all safety and cleanliness procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to provide courteous and professional guest service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Work Environment:

This role operates throughout guest rooms and resort areas. The position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
