Description
Position Summary:
Coordinate daily campus activities and staff movement, manage campus safety and security.
Essential Duties:
- Acquires, maintains, teaches and demonstrates knowledge of UC Prevention of Sexual Abuse (PSA) and Sexual Harassment standards at care provider facilities, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care and maintains a professional environment that is consistent with Title 22, licensing regulations, and established agency policies.
- Demonstrate effective and consistent Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and First Aid/CPR.
- Must be able to quickly and effectively respond to crisis situations.
- Maintain vigilant supervision of youth placed in 24/7 care.
- Ensure campus-wide safety, security, and disaster preparedness.
- Regularly coordinate transportation youth to appointments, recreation activities, court, family visits, etc.
- Regularly coordinates the movement of staff between cottages and campuses to ensure staffing ratio.
- Prepare timely and accurate documentation.
- Understand and retain instructions for complex tasks.
Pay Range: $18.38 - $22.98 per hour.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in a relevant field strongly preferred (will be compensated at a higher rate) with one year experience working with youth.
- Experience working with system-involved youth strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver’s license.
- Must be able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training including, but not limited to, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, First Aid/CPR, and other evidence- informed practices.
- Must be computer-literate and be able to understand and effectively use electronic record system.
Clearances and Requirements
- Must successfully clear DOJ and FBI fingerprint checks.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance.
- Proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases (e.g., Varicella, MMR, Tdap, TB, Influenza).
- Completion of all required ORR trainings, including Employee Misconduct Acknowledgment, Code of Conduct, and Sexual Abuse and Harassment Prevention.
- Must be able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training including, but not limited to, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and First Aid/CPR.
