The Activity Assistant is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing a daily schedule of programs and activities for residents, including conducting one-on-one visits and small group sessions. This role also involves assisting residents with mobility to and from meals and activities, as well as providing necessary nourishment and hydration.

Activity Assistant Responsibilities include:
- Develops activities and plans & implements a daily schedule of programs and activities for residents.
- Conducts one on one visits and small group activities.
- Assists residents to and from meals and activities.
- Provides nourishment and hydration to residents.
- Assists at mealtime with feeding residents.
Requirements
Activity Assistant Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to speak/lead activities of large groups.
- Previous experience in a geriatric setting is preferred.
- Previous experience with individuals that have cognitive deficits (such as Alzheimer's) is preferred.
- Music, art, fitness, educational, or activity experience preferred.
