The position is part-time (Resort Restaurant/Bar open every day with varies shifts)) with competitive pay.
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Teamwork and Customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience.
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced Resort environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure each guest is greeted promptly, courteously and enthusiastically with eye contact and a smile.
- Provide excellent knowledge of all available menu options, beverage lists and promotional specials.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with standard recipes.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization of the bar and storage areas, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing orders and payments.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, including banquets or special events.
- Follow all safety regulations and responsible serving policies to promote safe drinking practices.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 1-2 years previous experience in bartending in a resort, restaurant and hospitality industry is preferred.
- Positive attitude and a sincere willingness to provide excellent service to guests, visitors and peers.
- Thrive working in a fast paced and energetic environment.
- Treat organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
